The Io slot game is not played on reels, rather on each spin, you can see up to 24 symbols fall down into a grid with 6 columns and 4 up to 8 rows. At the start of each game, there are 4096 ways to win. This number increases as more rows are added with every avalanche caused by wins. There can be up to 8 rows with up to 262,144 ways to win.

Avalanches are caused when winning symbols disappear from the screen to make room for more symbols to fall down and fill the gaps. This can possibly cause more winning combos to occur.
